Ibiza in July 2027: parties, weather and prices
Ibiza in July 2027 is the season at full volume. In the 2026 reference year, every major residency was running by the second week of the month, hotel occupancy averaged close to 90 per cent, the sea reached about 25°C and the island's clubs, beach clubs and boats were all operating at their longest hours. It is the month to choose if what you want is the biggest line-ups, the busiest dancefloors and the most dependable heat, and the one in which you pay the most for the privilege. As of October 2026 nothing for 2027 has been announced, so everything below is a prediction anchored in the 2026 calendar and the facts we could verify.

This guide explains what July looked like in 2026 and what it implies for a 2027 trip: the weather, the crowded residencies and which ones are most likely to be on, the cost of sleeping, eating and getting in, the transport squeeze, and the daytime options that keep you sane between late nights. We keep every 2027 statement conditional, and we steer clear of rumours. Real announcements for 2027 normally arrive between January and March, and the alert on this page will tell you as soon as the first residencies are confirmed so that you can book while rooms are still available.
Heat, sea and daylight: the weather in Ibiza in July 2027
July is the sunniest and driest month of the Ibiza year. Long-term averages for Ibiza Town show a daytime high of about 29°C, a night-time low of about 20°C, around eleven hours of sunshine a day and only about three rainy days. The sea averages about 25°C, which is warm enough to float for an hour without a wetsuit or a gasp. Sunset falls at about 21:19 in the middle of the month according to our own calculation, so evenings stay light long after dinner, and the nights themselves are warm enough for a vest top at a club on the terrace. The flip side is that midday heat is strong: plan beach time for the morning and late afternoon, drink water constantly, wear a hat, and use high-factor sun cream. Air conditioning in your room is not a luxury at this time of year. Remember that these are long-term averages, not a forecast, and that heatwaves can push temperatures well beyond them.

Peak line-ups: which residencies ran in Ibiza July 2027's reference month
July 2026 was when the full roster of residencies overlapped. At Ushuaïa, David Guetta played Mondays, Calvin Harris played Fridays and, from 7 July, Tuesdays too, Martin Garrix started his Thursdays on 2 July, Tomorrowland presents Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike played Wednesdays, ANTS filled Saturdays and Swedish House Mafia took Sundays. At [UNVRS], Carl Cox was on Sundays, David Guetta's Galactic Circus on Fridays, FISHER on Thursdays, Anyma on Tuesdays, Paradise on Wednesdays, elrow on Saturdays and John Summit on Mondays until 27 July. Hï Ibiza had Black Coffee on Saturdays, Dom Dolla on Fridays and Meduza with James Hype on Wednesdays. Pacha hosted Solomun +1 on Sundays and Music On on Fridays, while Amnesia ran Glitterbox on Fridays, with Grace Jones live on 24 July, and Pyramid on Sundays. Circoloco continued at DC10 on Mondays.
If that structure repeats in 2027, you will be able to build a week around different styles every night, from stadium-sized pop-dance production to long, patient house and techno. The exact brands and venues may move, as Glitterbox did in 2026, so wait for official announcements before committing to a particular night. Some nights ended before the month did: Blond:ish's Abracadabra at Pacha finished on 29 July. Our clubs overview and the residencies hub help you compare the options. A practical way to use them is to list the three styles you enjoy most, such as pop-dance spectacle, long house sets or disco, and then see which weeknights and weekends cover them, because in a month with this much overlap you will almost certainly face a clash and should decide in advance which one wins.
What July costs: Ibiza in July 2027 hotels, tickets and drinks
July is expensive. Average hotel occupancy in July 2026 was reported at 89.95 per cent, compared with 88.90 per cent in July 2025, and above 91 per cent in the second half of the month, so rooms in popular areas disappear early. Aggregator data suggests that four-star rates peak in July or August, with one site putting the July average near 510 US dollars a night against about 101 in January, though the sources disagree about which month is highest, so treat the numbers as indicative only. Club prices seen in 2026 ranged from 20 to 50 euros for ordinary nights to 55 to 120 euros for big names, and one analysis put Hï Ibiza at 80 to 100 euros at peak and Ushuaïa daytime events at 110 to 130 euros. At Blue Marlin, official 2025 terms were 30 euros for a sunlounger plus a 70 euro minimum spend per person. Prices are not official and will change. The budget guide shows how to pull a trip together.
Beach clubs, boats and calas during Ibiza in July 2027
By July the beach-club scene is working at full tilt, from Cala Jondal and Cala Bassa to Ses Salines and Playa d'en Bossa. Because the sea is around 25°C, boats become far more rewarding: Pukka Up's 2026 sailings ran on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from San Antonio, with a pre-party at Rio Ibiza and a three-hour boat party from about 18:00, while Float Your Boat ran sunset cruises of a similar length. Boats from San Antonio to Cala Bassa and Cala Conta take roughly 25 and 40 minutes respectively. Popular calas fill early: Cala Comte's car park is full after about 11:00 and Cala Saladeta is crowded in August, so arrive in the morning or go by boat. Sunset spots such as Café Mambo, Sunset Ashram and Experimental Beach require booking at this time of year. If you prefer a quieter swim, head north to Cala Xarraca or Portinatx. Browse the beaches guide and the beach clubs guide to compare the options.
Transport in Ibiza July 2027: buses, taxis, ferries and traffic
July is when the island's transport is stretched. The Alsa airport buses run at their best frequency, with AERO1 and AERO2 every 30 minutes in summer and AERO3 and AERO5 added for the port and Playa d'en Bossa, with typical card fares of 3.50 to 4 euros according to a travel source based on the timetables. Discobus lines D1 to D4 run at full service until the end of September, and Pacha and [UNVRS] operate free shuttles from San Antonio. Taxis follow the official tariff, which was approved to rise in September 2026, and queues at the airport rank and at club exits can be long, so book return journeys in advance. Ibiza introduced a seasonal cap on visiting vehicles in 2026, and Formentera requires an authorisation from 1 June to 30 September, with a July and August fee of about 9 euros for a car in 2026. Ferries to Formentera take around 30 minutes, with one aggregator listing foot-passenger fares from about 29 to 36.50 euros one way. Read the getting around guide.

Days, markets and hot afternoons: living Ibiza in July 2027 beyond the dancefloor
With late nights the norm, your days need a rhythm. Mornings and early evenings are best for markets and walks: Las Dalias in the north ran on Saturdays until 20:00 in summer in 2026, with a night market on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from June to September, and the Punta Arabí hippy market in Es Canar runs on Wednesdays. La Mola on Formentera holds an afternoon craft market on Wednesdays and Sundays from May to October. The old town of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO site, is pleasant after dark, when temperatures drop, and the north of the island, around Sant Joan and Portinatx, is shadier and quieter than the south. In the hottest hours, retreat to a pool, a shaded cala, or air conditioning. Traditional dishes such as bullit de peix, flaó and a glass of hierbas ibicencas are worth planning one meal around. See the hippy markets guide and the villages page for more.
Booking strategy for Ibiza in July 2027: what to reserve first
Because July sells out, the order of booking matters. First, watch for residency announcements between January and March and decide your top two or three nights. Second, reserve your room, ideally with free cancellation, because the high demand in the second half of the month means the best-located places go first. Third, buy club tickets from the official club channel or an authorised reseller listed on our tickets page, as early as your plans are firm, since big nights at Ushuaïa, [UNVRS] and Hï Ibiza sell out in advance. Fourth, reserve beach clubs and sunset tables for the days you want them, especially weekends. Fifth, arrange your airport transfer and the late-night return. Choose your base by area: Playa d'en Bossa for Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, Ibiza Town for Pacha, San Antonio for the Sunset Strip and boats. See the Playa d'en Bossa guide for a closer look. Finally, keep a small buffer in your budget for extras such as taxis, water and food at the clubs, since those add up faster than the tickets themselves in peak weeks.
Ibiza in July 2027: frequently asked questions
July questions are usually about value, crowds and heat. People want to know whether the premium is worth paying, how early they must book, and how to cope with the temperature and the late nights. The answers below rely on the 2026 season, which is the only verified reference, and treat anything about 2027 as expected rather than confirmed, since no club has announced its 2027 programme as of October 2026. Rumours about residency moves circulate every autumn, but we do not repeat them as fact. If you are still weighing up months, compare this guide with the ones for June and August, and use the alert on this page to hear about confirmed line-ups the moment they are published, which usually happens between January and March. Each answer is short, direct and rooted in verified 2026 figures, with the uncertain parts clearly marked. Use them as a starting point, then confirm details with the clubs closer to your dates.
Is Ibiza in July 2027 worth the higher prices?
It is worth it if the line-ups are your priority. In 2026, July was the month when nearly every major residency overlapped, with average hotel occupancy around 90 per cent, so you get the most choice and the most atmosphere, but you also pay the most for rooms and the least flexibility. Club entry ranged from about 20 to 50 euros for standard nights up to 55 to 120 euros for big names, and premium daytime events cost more again. If you can accept a quieter feel, June or September deliver much of the music with lower prices and more space. If you want the full production, the biggest names and the warmest sea at around 25°C, July is the purest version of the Ibiza summer. Budget generously and book early. A useful compromise is to spend the first half of a stay on beaches and markets with one big night, then add a second headline night when you know how your energy holds up in the heat.
How hot does Ibiza July 2027 get?
Long-term averages put the daytime high at about 29°C and the night-time low at about 20°C, with sea temperatures near 25°C, around eleven hours of sunshine a day and only about three rainy days. Actual days can be hotter, particularly inland and during heatwaves, so plan around the middle of the day. Take a hat, drink plenty of water, put on sunscreen repeatedly and book accommodation with air conditioning. Beaches are best in the morning and the late afternoon, and the sea is warm enough to swim comfortably at any hour. Clubs with open-air terraces are pleasant at night, but dancefloors inside can be hot, so wear light clothing and bring only what you need. These figures are averages rather than a forecast, so check the weather before you travel. Pace yourself on the first day, because the combination of sun, alcohol and late nights catches out many first-time visitors, and carry a refillable bottle so that water is always within reach on beaches, boats and queues.
When should I book for Ibiza July 2027?
Start watching in January and plan to book between February and April. In 2026, residency announcements came between January and March, and July's high occupancy means that good rooms near the clubs disappear early. A sensible approach is to reserve a room with free cancellation as soon as your dates are fixed, buy club tickets once the line-ups you want are public, and add beach clubs, boats and airport transfers later. If you are after a specific night, such as an opening or a guest-heavy show, buy as soon as tickets go on sale. For flexible travellers, last-minute deals exist but are riskier at this time of year. Use the alert on this page, the season guide and the tickets page to keep track. Many travellers also set a calendar reminder for the first week of each month from January, since announcements tend to arrive in waves and the best early rates on flights and rooms often appear alongside them.
