Ibiza season 2027: dates, calendar and what to expect

The Ibiza season 2027 has not been announced, but its shape is easy to predict because the island repeats the same arc every year. Clubs reopen in the last week of April, the weekly programme builds through May and June, July and August deliver the densest calendar, September offers a calmer second peak, and the clubs close in early to mid October. As of 25 October 2026, no opening date, residency or line-up for next summer is official, so everything on this page about 2027 is an expectation based on the 2026 calendar, which we use as a reference year with real dates. Where the research is unclear we say so rather than guess.

If you prefer to be told when something is confirmed, the alert on this page lets you follow the opening and closing parties, plus headline residencies such as Carl Cox, Black Coffee and Calvin Harris. Prices mentioned are indicative figures seen in 2026, not official tariffs, and 2027 programming may look different from what you read here.

How the Ibiza season 2027 is structured

Think of the Ibiza 2027 season as five phases. The opening phase covers the last week of April and the first half of May, when each club stages its own launch party. The build-up runs through May and June, when residencies start one by one. The peak lasts from July to the end of August, with every night of the week programmed at the biggest venues. September is a wind-down in which some brands finish early and others return for short runs. The closing phase takes place in the first half of October, usually culminating in a closing weekend. In 2026 individual closings began on 30 September and the main weekend landed on 9 to 12 October, with the last summer party at Chinois on 17 October. Our opening parties page and closing parties page go deeper on the two ends of this arc. Knowing which phase you are in helps you judge crowds, prices and how many clubs will actually be open on your chosen night.

Ibiza 2027 season in April: openings and the IMS week

April is where the new Ibiza season begins, and it is the best time for travellers who want to be among the first through the doors. In 2026 the sequence ran from Pacha on Friday 24 April, to Hï on Saturday 25 April, Ushuaïa and [UNVRS] on Sunday 26 April, and DC10 with Circoloco on Monday 27 April. Es Paradis opened earlier, in early April. These dates sit around the International Music Summit, which in 2026 took place from 22 to 24 April at the Mondrian and Hyde complex in Cala Llonga, with a finale in Dalt Vila. For 2027 the same weekend is the sensible expectation, which would point to the last week of April, but no club has confirmed it. April weather is mild rather than hot, and bus services are lighter, so plan transport carefully. Read the expected opening dates before you book flights. If you can tolerate cooler evenings, April offers a relaxed first taste of the summer and easier hotel availability.

Ibiza season 2027 in May and June: the build-up

May and June are when the calendar fills in. In 2026 O Beach opened on 1 May, Black Coffee started his Saturdays at Hï on 2 May, Chinois opened on 7 May with Defected on Thursdays, and Amnesia held its opening party on 9 May. Glitterbox and Music On both began on 15 May, at Amnesia and Pacha respectively. June brought David Guetta and John Summit on Mondays from 1 June, Dom Dolla on Fridays from 5 June, elrow on Saturdays at [UNVRS] from 6 June, Anyma on Tuesdays from 9 June, Paradise on Wednesdays from 10 June, and Carl Cox on Sundays from 21 June. Crowds are smaller than in August and flights are cheaper, which makes this a smart window for first-timers. Our May guide and June guide cover weather, parties and indicative prices. Check the exact night you want, because residency start dates differ by a week or more from one club to another.

Ibiza 2027 season in July and August: the peak

July and August are the full-throttle weeks. In 2026 Calvin Harris held Tuesdays at Ushuaïa from 7 July to 25 August, in addition to Fridays from 29 May to 2 October, Martin Garrix played Thursdays from 2 July to 24 September, and Swedish House Mafia took Sundays from 28 June to 13 September. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike ran Wednesdays at Ushuaïa from 6 May to 30 September, Amnesia staged Resistance on Wednesdays from 22 July to 16 September, and Pacha hosted a four-week RÜFÜS DU SOL run on Tuesdays in July. Accommodation is at its most expensive in these two months and the Discobus network runs at full strength. If you expect to be here for the peak, our July guide and August guide will help you choose between the south coast and the quieter sides of the island. Book early, because the best nights sell out. Even in the busiest weeks, midweek nights are often easier on both your wallet and your energy than weekends.

Ibiza season 2027 in September: the sweet spot

September is the month many regulars quietly prefer. The sea stays warm after a summer of heat, daytime beaches feel less packed, and the clubs still run strong programmes. In 2026 Martin Garrix and HUGEL finished their Thursdays at Ushuaïa and Hï on 24 September, Dom Dolla had already ended on 28 August, and CamelPhat returned to Hï for a September run from 4 September to 2 October. FISHER's Thursdays at [UNVRS] ended on 10 September and Anyma's Tuesdays on 15 September. Swedish House Mafia ended on 13 September, so the peak names thin out as the month goes on. Several venues begin their final residency closings from 30 September. If you are flexible, September is often the best balance of atmosphere, weather and price. Our September guide goes through the month in detail. Remember that the programme changes week by week, so look at individual nights instead of assuming a summer-long schedule.

Ibiza 2027 season in October: closing weekend and farewells

October is short but intense. The 2026 farewells began on 30 September with Ibiza Rocks and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, continued through the first weekend with Calvin Harris on 2 October, Carl Cox on 4 October and Solomun on 4 October at Pacha, and peaked from 9 to 12 October. Hï closed on Friday 9 October, Ushuaïa, [UNVRS] and Amnesia on Saturday 10 October, Pacha with two nights on 10 and 11 October, and DC10 with Circoloco on Monday 12 October. Chinois held a final summer party on 17 October. The weather can still be warm, but sea temperature and daylight hours fall, and boat trips and ferries run reduced timetables. For the full picture read our closing parties guide and the October guide. Check the date of the specific closing event you want, since the individual brands wind down on different days. Pack a light jacket for the evenings as well as swimwear for the afternoons.

When Ibiza season 2027 news will arrive

Announcements arrive in waves. Ticket sellers say the first confirmations normally come between January and March, and most of the big residencies are fixed by about March. The opening party line-ups for the Playa d'en Bossa clubs were announced in January in 2026. Ushuaïa Entertainment, which operates Ushuaïa, Hï and [UNVRS], already invites fans to register for early access to 2027 tickets. Amnesia says it is preparing a new season, and the International Music Summit is reported to be planning a 2027 return without dates. Rumours about which names may move between clubs circulate every autumn, but nothing is officially confirmed, and we do not report them as fact. Editorial commentary in 2026 described an age of the split residency, with nights shared between artists, so expect 2027 to look similar. Our residencies overview tracks what is confirmed. Treat anything you read earlier than that as speculation, however confident it sounds.

Choosing your dates in the Ibiza 2027 season

Start with what you want from the trip. If you want a specific residency, such as Carl Cox on Sundays, Black Coffee on Saturdays or Calvin Harris at Ushuaïa, wait for the announcement and then book around it, since the 2026 runs lasted most of the summer and a mid-season week is likely to include them. If you want atmosphere and value, aim for late May, June or September. If you want maximum choice, go from mid-July to mid-August. For a weekend trip, an opening or closing weekend packs multiple clubs into a few days. The tickets guide explains when to buy, and the budget guide shows indicative costs. Keep your flights flexible until line-ups are public. Use the alert on this page to follow the clubs and brands that matter to you. Whatever you choose, keep a small buffer in your plans, because line-ups and dates can still move after they are first published.

Ibiza season 2027: frequently asked questions

These are the questions visitors ask most often while the Ibiza season 2027 is still unannounced. Everything about 2027 is expressed as an expectation, built from the real 2026 calendar, because the clubs have not yet published their plans. Dates for next year will only be confirmed by the venues themselves, normally between January and March, and prices quoted here are indicative ranges seen in 2026, not official tariffs. If you want to be among the first to know, use the free alert on this page and we will email you when opening parties, residencies or closing weekends appear. Each answer below is deliberately short, and you can follow the links to the pages that go into more detail on timing, costs and clubs for your preferred part of the summer. When does the Ibiza 2027 season start?

Nothing is official, but the 2026 pattern points to the last weekend of April. In 2026 the first big openings ran from 24 to 27 April, with Pacha on 24 April, Hï on 25 April, Ushuaïa and [UNVRS] on 26 April and DC10 on 27 April. In 2025 the Hï and Ushuaïa openings were on 26 April. Some venues open later: Amnesia opened on 9 May 2026, O Beach on 1 May and Chinois on 7 May. Ticket sellers currently project 2027 dates close to the same weekend, but those are estimates, not announcements. If the pattern holds, the first parties of the Ibiza 2027 season will take place within the final week of April, and the programme will reach full strength by mid-June. Our opening parties page tracks expected dates club by club, and the alert will tell you when the real dates appear. Treat those windows as planning guidance rather than a schedule.

When does the Ibiza 2027 season end?

Expect the main closing weekend to fall in the first half of October. In 2026 the farewell parties started on 30 September and the main weekend ran from 9 to 12 October, followed by a final summer party at Chinois on 17 October. In 2025 Amnesia held closing parties on 10 and 11 October, and Cova Santa closed on 10 October. That suggests the second weekend of October is the likeliest target for 2027, though each club chooses its own date and none has announced one. Individual residencies often finish earlier, in September or the first days of October, so check the night you care about, not only the club. Our closing parties guide explains the pattern, and the October guide covers weather and prices. Remember that 2027 dates are expected rather than confirmed until the clubs publish them. Always confirm the exact date before you book anything. Treat this as a planning window, not a promise.

What is the best month in the Ibiza 2027 season?

It depends on what you value. July and August offer the biggest choice, with every night of the week programmed, but also the highest prices and the heaviest crowds. June and September are the favourites of many regulars, because the weather is warm, the beaches are easier and the major residencies are still running. May is quieter and cheaper, with fewer residencies, while October is for closing parties. In 2026 the major Ushuaïa, Hï and [UNVRS] residencies mostly ran from late May or June to late September or early October, which makes June to September the core window if you are chasing a specific headliner. Use our June and September guides to compare, and remember that 2027 programming is not announced. Keep your travel dates flexible until the line-ups are published, and rely on the alert for updates. There is no single right answer, only the right month for your priorities.

How will I find out about Ibiza season 2027 announcements?

Clubs announce their plans in stages, usually from January to March, with residencies first and individual line-ups later. Ushuaïa Entertainment runs a registration list for early access to 2027 tickets, and several clubs publish opening party line-ups months ahead. Our free alert gathers these updates for you: choose the opening parties, the closing parties or a specific club or residency on this page, and you will be told when dates and line-ups appear. We also recommend checking the exact night and venue before booking travel, since residencies can change between seasons and split between artists. While you wait, our season calendar, club overview and residencies page give you a realistic framework based on the 2026 summer. Treat every 2027 detail you read before an official announcement as an estimate, and avoid paying for non-refundable plans until dates are confirmed. This keeps your planning grounded in what has actually been confirmed.
